ABOUT US
Hello and thank you for visiting our “About Us” page!
My name is Ryan Amos. For me, becoming a plumber was an easy choice. I grew up in the picturesque Columbia River Gorge, Washington state. My father is a plumber and has owned his own plumbing company for the majority of his life. From the time we were kids, he took my brother and me on jobs to start training us. By the time I was 18, I was ready to become his full-time apprentice. He instilled in me an excellent work ethic and trained me to go above and beyond, providing the highest quality craftsmanship that I still carry with me to this day. High-end Custom homes were our specialty. Oh, and yes, my brother became a plumber, too!
In my 20’s I moved to New York where I operated boilers and worked on Steam Systems. Done with the big city experience, I eventually relocated to the Portland, OR/ Vancouver, WA area and worked for a large Residential & Commercial plumbing company for 9 years where I became a Journeyman, and their lead Service Technician. We worked on everything from High-End fancy houses to small and large commercial projects. Additionally, I had specialty training in Acorn and Evac Vacuum Drainage Systems enabling me to service bigger companies like Trader Joes & Costco. But what I love doing most is service repair work and solving challenging plumbing problems.
In 2007 I married my best friend, Lori. Wanting to live somewhere a little slower paced and definitely way less rainy, we relocated to beautiful, SUNNY St. George, UT in 2015. Although I really enjoyed working for a local plumbing company here in St. G, it has been our dream for many years to own our own business. So, after receiving my Master Plumbers License, we took that leap in October of this year and chose the name PINE MOUNTAIN PLUMBING because of our love for Southern Utah and its stunning Pine Valley Mountain Range.
We really look forward to this new adventure and hope to have the opportunity to take care of all our communities plumbing needs!
